RSM Canada on Wednesday released the second issue of The Real Economy, Canada. The publication explores the impact of positive economic trends such as Canada’s burgeoning digital economy against the backdrop of a global slowdown in growth, North American trade disruptions and other stresses to the economy.
“The numbers show that Canada’s relative openness to immigration is a clear benefit for many middle market businesses,” says Joe Brusuelas, RSM chief economist and the lead author of the report. Adding people with diverse training and viewpoints will help to bridge the skills gap and support Canada’s plans for economic growth.
The issue also covers developments in the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion project and the expected benefit to middle market companies.
