Maria Phillips is a Privacy subject matter expert in RSM's risk consulting group. In this capacity, Maria helps heavily regulated clients with compliance and the design, implementation, and management of privacy and security programs.
Maria was selected to serve as one of RSM's CEO Action for Racial Equity (CEOAFRE) Fellows and is focused on the Healthcare Pillar. CEOAFRE’s mission is to identify, develop and promote scalable and sustainable public policies and corporate engagement strategies that will address systemic racism, social injustice and improve societal well-being. The 6 RSM-sponsored Fellows’ work focuses on developing large-scale solutions to the racial disparities in healthcare, education, economic empowerment, and public safety within the U.S. Maria brings years of passion and experience to the Fellowship. Her drive for change is heavily influenced by her own background and encounters with people impacted by the lack of equity.
