Joe Brusuelas (left), RSM’s chief economist, and Tuan Nguyen (below), RSM’s U.S. economist, were named among Bloomberg’s top economic forecasters for the fourth quarter of 2025, continuing their recognition as one of the nation’s elite economics teams.
In the overall ranking, Brusuelas and Nguyen were ranked No. 8 in the accuracy of their economics forecasts among the several hundred economists included in the survey.
The team claimed the top ranking in forecasting personal income, and also in how the service sector would perform. In consumer confidence, Brusuelas and Nguyen were ranked No. 2.
The results for 2025 continue a run of excellence for Brusuelas and Nguyen. In December 2023, they were recognized on Bloomberg’s list of best bond forecasters after correctly predicting where the benchmark Treasury would end the year.
